Thunder and dark clouds may not be what they had wished for but it was what they got. When we were headed towards the ceremony site to take some portraits it rained so heavily you could barely drive. The time leading up to the ceremony was tense, they didn’t want to give up their dream of an outdoor ceremony. Just as they had decided on moving everything indoors the sky suddenly cleared. Everyone hurried outside and the hour during which the ceremony was held was the sunniest of the day.
I don’t think they would change the weather if they could, it’s these surprises that make a wedding day unforgettable. You can plan a wedding for as long as you wish but once the day is here, remember just to try to enjoy it all as much as you can. That’s what Anna and Jani did, as they danced polka way into the night, not minding the rain that fell outside.
