This day reminded me of what a celebration weddings really are supposed to be and I don’t know if I’ve ever seen such a happy couple as Ingrid and Ezra. Maybe it’s the fact that they live in Kenya and have a carefree attitude that we sometimes lack here in the north or maybe it’s because they were in fact already married, having celebrated a wedding in Ezra’s home village in Kenya about two months prior to their wedding in Finland.
It just made me so happy to see how their mood reflected the clear blue sky and how their smiles grew wider for every hour of the day. From the take away pizza lunch in their small summer house to the beautiful and sweaty ceremony in the +30 C degree church. Following a sweet and intimate reception where they crammed all their closest friends and family into the historic Kimo bruk, topping it off with barefoot dancing to African rhythms under the full moon.
All in all, I can see why Ingrid’s siblings call her ‘sister happy‘ and why she belongs with Ezra, whose smile can match the width and warmth of her own.
så sjukt fina bilder!!
Det var en så härlig dag, glad om jag lyckats fånga ens en bråkdel av glädjeyran!
