It was a very special day when Micaela & Anton had their wedding festival in Kristinestad

I was joined by my husband Sebastian who filmed the entire wedding day. We got started in the early afternoon, documenting the sweet ceremony held in the garden of Anton’s childhood home. The ceremony was followed by a picnic dinner and during the night three different bands played at was ultimately a wedding festival. Before viewing my photo story you can have a look at the wedding film that we created together.

Micaela & Anton’s personality and lifestyle showed in their wedding, with sustainability being the key theme of their wedding. They asked guests to wear a wardrobe staple and for gifts they only asked for hand me downs or handmade things. The wedding couple themselves wore clothing they had thrifted and the bridal bouquet was picked in the garden where they held their wedding. Everything was personal and intimate, reflecting this warm and down to earth couple and their own dream celebration.

I am so thankful to be trusted to be their wedding photographer and even more so considering this was the third wedding I documented within the same family. The oldest daughter Sandra married Victor a few years back, and the youngest daughter Matilda married her Fredrik just last summer. I got to be the photographer at both weddings and was so, so grateful to be back for the final wedding, when Anton married his Micaela.
